Abstract

Verbs are very important words in Chinese language. Among them, separable verbs represents a unique grammatical phenomenon in modern Chinese. Learning and mastering separable verbs is important content, and forms a foundational knowledge that helps students achieve proficiency in Chinese. However, due to different views on separable verbs, the challenges in identifying, defining and distinguishing them from regular verbs have led to frequent errors in students' use. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the common errors students make when using separable verbs, explores the causes and proposes specific measures to address these isues. The aim is to improve teaching effectiveness and support students in mastering separable verbs.
