FACTORS AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF TEACHING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES IN FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY

Abstract


For Foreign Trade University, English for Specific Purposes is of growing importance in the context of international integration. Simultaneously, it is considered as a competitive advantage of students in comparison with other universities. This paper aims to analyzing and evaluating some main factors that have significant impacts on the quality of teaching English for Specific Purposes in Foreign Trade University, Hochiminh City Campus, including course books, teaching staff, timing, assessment methods and students’ study attitude. By this way, some suggestions are made in hope of improving the quality of teaching, hence contributing to make students’ English level better.
