STUDY OF “V1-EO V2” CONSTRUCTION IN KOREAN

Like Vietnamese and English, Korean also has new verbs formed by combining a verb with another verb. However, there are many differences between this construction in the Korean and the two languages above, for example, the connective ending, the meaning”s difference and the word spacing. In this study, the researcher will focus on introducing and analyzing the 4 most common and well-known “V1-eo V2” sentence structions in Korean. Thereby, the researcher hopes that it can partly help Vietnamese students to learn Korean with a clearer view about “V1-eo V2” constructions.
